My Bandage Dress

It’s my friends birthday next Saturday so of course I had to order a new outfit! One brand I’ve heard quite a bit about is ‘My Bandage Dress’ and thought I better have a browse of the website AND get a new outfit!

I decided on this gorgeous skirt and top combo – the ‘Bianca’ skirt in nude and ‘Milly’ crop top! At first I thought about getting the two pieces in the same colour – however the ever popular brand had quite a few of my choices sold out in my size! Boo hoo! Although I’m super happy with what I decided on and I’m in love!

I will upload a proper photo with full hair and make up, shoes and all on Saturday! But this gives you an idea of how gorgeously it fits!
The material is thick and figure hugging – doesn’t slide up like some annoying fabrics and dresses/skirts. It’s so comfy also, I love this colour combo together too!
My plan is to keep my hair sleek and straight and pair my outfit with nude heels! Nude heels are always a good idea as they elongate your legs.
What do you think of my outfit? What about the brand?

Casual and Loungin’

I started off my look my tying my hair in a loose plait. Wearing my Monki shirt and Joni Topshop jeans.

After a while I took my plait out so it left a soft and tousled look.

I like to leave a few buttons undone on my shirt so it gives a more casual look and gives more flow to the outfit.
I also paired this with my green satchel from River Island, my gorgeous leather jacket from Topshop with a fur trim round the collar and my chunky boots from Missguided.

My watch is from Casio and the gorgeous purple hue on my nails is from Barry M (my favourite brand), I’d definitely have a look at some of their colours if you’re into nail art!!

Whilst in London (see my previous post Recent Purchases) we went out into Shoreditch and went up to the viewing area in the Shard.

I thought I should wear something nice, but not too dressy or over the top! I love wearing all black, so I did, and paired my outfit with some strappy barely there heels.

Bodysuit is from American Apparel
Jeans are from Topshop
Heels are from New Look

I paired this look with a gold clutch bag from Dorothy Perkins, and wrapped up warm in my leopard print coat from Topshop (that I blog about all the time!)

Recent Purchases

I’ve been looking for SO long for the ever popular MAC lipstick ‘Velvet Teddy’ and finally it was on the MAC website where it wasn’t sold out!

I’m obsessed with this colour, I love the more nude shades but still accentuate your pout!
I’ve also got another on the way in the shade ‘Brave’ that I’ve been wanting for ages! A girl can never have to many lipsticks..

I’ve also been in London this weekend, and had the most amazing time! I was born there, and lived there till I was 12, the moved to Manchester! My boyfriend has never been before so it was his Christmas present to go!

He bought my this really cute Burberry-esque scarf in China Town! It was only £1.99 you can’t go wrong can you! I’ve been wanting a check scarf for ages, and this does the job perfectly!

Clashing Prints

Today I thought I’d step out my comfort zone a little and wear something I usually wouldn’t.

I’m wearing;
Skirt by American Apparel in colour True Blood (£46)

Shirt by Topshop – I think it was around £30!

My coat is from Topshop also, I got it for £25 reduced from £80!

Golden Globes 2015

The annual Golden Globes were last night and I caught up with it all this morning! My personal favourite best dressed was Jennifer Lopez – the woman is a goddess!

I adore this look on her, she’s so glamorous. I hope to God I look like this when I’m her age!! Her body is phenomenal and she just looks stunning – the colour of the dress compliments her skin perfectly. What do you think of this, who was your best dressed?

My worst dresses of the outfits I’ve seen has to be Rosamund Pike, she’s a beautiful woman – but this dress is so unflattering!

I just feel the dress makes her look far larger than she is, making her boobs look saggy and the cutouts just aren’t in the right place to flatter her figure! What do you think, who was your worst dressed?

However – back to the positive! Another woman who looks FABULOUS for her age is Jennifer Aniston.

I love this black dress on her, it’s very age appropriate – however the slit up the side keeps it sexy and shows off her amazing figure! The simple shoe doesn’t cut her leg up, instead it elongates them and keeps the look classy and chic.

Here are a few more of my favourite looks from the Golden Globes;

Reese Witherspoon is this amazing Calvin Klein gown.

Kate Hudson in Versace.

Sienna Miller is this gorgeous deep V gown, inkeeping with her boho style.

Khloe Kardashian looking hot hosting the E! After party.

It wasn’t just the women who stole the show – the men looked pretty dapper too. Here are my favourites;

Jared Leto.

Mathew McConaughey. (My personal favourite)

Matt Bomer.

There’s so many more favourites I have, but if be here all day! What were your favourite looks, and the ones which didn’t quite make the cut?
