Birthday Dress Shopping

American Apparel – £50 in Blue and White Floral.

I adore this dress, I think it’s stunning! However, for my birthday I think it’s a little too formal! It’s very “wedding guest” attire I feel.
Back to shopping, no problem for me.

Checked shirt: Monki
Snakeskin slip ons: Topshop £20
Ripped jeans: Topshop £45

I’m obsessed with these ripped jeans I bought the other day, I like how there’s not just rips in the knees like so many other pairs, and FINALLY a nice pair of jeans that doesn’t have metres and metres of material at my ankles!!! (All you five foot gals know what I’m saying) they fit so snugly as well and are really comfy! My new fave pair of jeans.

I love these shoes too, another payday purchase – someone stop me – seriously. They look so good and they’re so comfy! And what a bargain price, they’ll last for ages too.

Payday purchase!

I’ve been desperately needing a new bag, so I took a little trip today! I actually couldn’t find many I liked which was surprising, and a bit disappointing. However, I came across this little number in River Island for £30!!

I really like satchels I think they’re really cute, and look great with so many outfits – day OR night.

I adore this colour, and the snakeskin pattern on parts of the bag. For £30 I can hardly complain, I’m pleased!

I can tell it’s great quality, and it looks far more expensive than it was, well I think so!

Only had college today so I kept it casual! But I like to look nice and feel nice still on my causal days, so I wear one statement item of clothing to dress it up slightly. And that statement would be my silky Zara shirt!

I paired this with my River Island jeans, to keep it cool and fresh.

I love the neckline of this shirt how it’s quite low cut but crossed over. I really like this collar also, you could easily wear this with a jumper paired for winter for a really cute look!

To accessorise I wore my DKNY gold watch, I wear this everyday I feel lost without it. I love it as gold goes with everything and dresses up an outfit instantly. I also wore my pandora ring, I adore the colour of the stone in this ring. It’s not my birthstone but it’s such a gorgeous colour. I think it went really well with my shirt!

Inspo from Insta

I’m a self confessed social media addict I will tell you, and one app I LOVE and refresh time after time is Instagram! I love getting inspiration from there and following loads of other bloggers and designers to see what’s up and coming.
I follow the general Topshop and other high street stores (these can be good to get notified of upcoming sales and discount codes) and ofcourse following the designers that are out of my price range but oh so gorgeous. I’m looking at you Christian Louboutin.

I’m obsessed with these shoes that I saw from Topshop, I desperately want them, no. I need them. But I have to be practical! What would I wear them with? I’ll find something I’m sure..

I love seeing outfits put together also, like here in ASOS. I love this kind of look, casual yet very put together and smart in a way.

You can never have too many dresses, and I am definitely a dress hoarder. I’m in love with For Love and Lemons, I love love love the lace and illusion netting they use on their dresses. It’s simply gorgeous and oh so flattering.
And Australian brand Bec and Bridge is to die for too. I love the simplicity of their dresses but yet it’s so different in a way, for example this neckline. I adore their clothes.

And ofcourse you can’t buy a new dress without a new clutch?! I love this one as black goes with evvvverrrryyything and is so versatile. You could go out for drinks or hit the town, you’d get your use out of this! I love the cheeky pun on this, probably the reason why I like it so much!
